Way Ting, PhD
Founder

Before establishing Voxa in May of 1999, Way Ting founded Pictra, Inc., which successfully launched a service that allows customers and businesses to put digital photo albums online.

Pictra was the first company to introduce this "publish and share" technology and received wide press recognition as a result.

Prior to Pictra, Way Ting was Vice President and General Manager, Visual Magic Division of Silicon Graphics. His responsibilities included development, strategy, and profit and loss of all of SGI's value-added software, including multimedia, collaboration, web servers and authoring tools, desk top, and development environments. Under Way Ting’s direction, his division's revenues grew from $20M to $45M in three years.

Before Silicon Graphics, Way Ting was Vice President of Engineering at Stardent Computer Corp., a manufacturer of high-end graphics workstations. He also spent nine years with AT&T/ Bell Labs in New Jersey serving in various engineering and management capacities.

Way Ting holds a PhD in Computer Science from Cornell University.

Beatrice Hom
Founder & President

Prior to being a co-founder of Voxa, Beatrice was Vice President at Lehman Brothers Private Client Group. She was responsible for managing a $400 million portfolio for international and domestic companies focusing on high technology and e-commerce.

Beatrice also served as Senior Vice President at SG Cowen and Co. and has over 15 years of investment experience.

She brings a wealth of global and financial exposure to Voxa's applications and future endeavors.
